....saw a field of 22 starters line up for
the weekly Single stableford event with a 2BBB in conjunction
sponsored by Dave's Pro Shop.
The individual winner for the day was Patrick
Kenny(24) taking out the $50 voucher with an excellent score
in the conditions of 39 points on a countback. The 2BBB winners
were Ian Evans(7) and George Jordon(25) with 47 points.( $25
voucher each).
Nearest the pins were won by George Jordon
on the 5th and Ian Fitzgerald on the 17th with balls going down
to 34 on a countback.
Visitors were welcomed from Moss Vale and
Roseville.

....saw members play the annual Jack Burrows
Day as a Medley Stableford in conjunction with a 2Ball Multiplier.
A large field with visitos from Manly, Cromer,
Wentworth Falls, Bexley, Katoomba, Oberon, Coonabaraban, Northbridge
and Geringong hit off in excellent winter mountains conditions.
This event celebrates the great contribution
made by Jack Burrows over many many years. His family who sponsored
the event were on hand to present the trophies to the winners.
The Men's winner with a $50 voucher was
Peter Messer(20) with 41 Points on a count back from Brian O'Baugh
(21) who took home the $25 voucher. The Ladies winner was Maree
Griffiths(35) with the best score of the day with 41 points
from the runner up Louise Stephenson(12) 37 points on a countback.
The scratch winner was Terry Beaver with 32 pints.
The 2Ball Multiplier winners were Peter
Kailofer(29) and Brian Marvin(17) with an excellent 90 points
(after wiping the 17th and 18th). Balls went down to 34 on a
countback.
Nearest the pins went to J Carrol on the
2nd, Cathy Campbell on the 5th, Bruce Reoch on the 13th and
Graham McCarter on the 17th. The Pro Pin on the 17th was not
won and jackpots to $62 next Saturday when the men will play
their monthly meal and compete for the Spring Cup sponsored
by Roger Howard-Smith.
The annual General Meeting of the Club was
held in the evening with a new board elected. President Michael
Lonergan stood down and the new President for 2010/2011 is Kerrie-Ann3
Tatton.
