Blackheath Men - Wednesday 6th March
... was Midweek single stableford and 2 Ball stableford time, with visitors from Katoomba, Bexley, Eastlakes and Darwin.
The singles winner was Paul Rowe (19) with 43 points picking up a $70 voucher from the sponsor….Dave’s Proshop, followed by Nick Karahalios (20) also on 43 points and picking up a $30 voucher.
The 2 Ball winners were Michael Mole (10) and Peter Bourke (28) with 47 points each winning a $25 voucher.
Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Eddy Raets and on the 17th to Frank Horacek and balls went to 30 on a countback.

Blackheath Men - Saturday 6th March
...was Round 1 of the mens championships along with the March monthly medal.
The winner of the A grade medal was Ossie Antaw (6) with 66 nett ahead of Ken Coates (11) with 67 nett. The B grade medal and the winner of the day’s best nett score sponsored by Joe Dicker was John Holmes (15) with 65 nett ahead of John Mahony (19) with 68 nett and the C grade medal was won by Geoff Clark (20) 71 nett ahead of Roger Howard-Smith (25) with 72 nett.
Scratch winners were in A grade, Terry Beaver (4) with 71, in B grade, John Holmes (15) with 80 and in C grade, Geoff Clarke (20) with 91.
Nearest the pin on the 2nd went to Terry Beaver, on the 5th to Jack Lord, on the 13th to Nigel Wild and on the 17th to Andrew Broeder. The Propin on the 17th missed out going off again and the jackpot for next Saturday now stands at $1045.
Balls went to 73 on a countback.
We had visitors from Tura Beach, North Ryde and Mona Vale.
Rounds 3 & 4 will be played next weekend with a High Tea and Presentation after the final round on Sunday.
